YOU ASK, WE ANSWER
Frequently asked questions
Welcome to the family table
Whether you grew up with Lox & Egg Bagel Company, knew us as Brooklyn Bagel & Deli, or are walking into Buddy’s for the first time, we’re glad you’re here. Two Sarasota bagel shops now share one family name, and we still bake fresh bagels every morning.
Have a question before you stop in for breakfast or start planning your next get-together? You will find the answers below.
Our Hours & Locations
What are your hours of operation?
Both of our Sarasota locations are open 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Holiday hours may vary.
Where are your stores located, and what is the parking situation like?
We have two locations in Sarasota, and both have free on-site parking:
- Cattlemen: 999 Cattlemen Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232 | (941) 371-4112. There’s a private lot right in front of the shop.
- Tamiami: 4065 S Tamiami Trl, Sarasota, FL 34231 | (941) 924-1797. There’s plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.
Catering
Do you offer catering services in Sarasota?
We sure do! We cater everything from small office breakfasts and weekend get-togethers to large family celebrations and weddings.
We offer two catering menus:
- General Catering: Freshly sliced bagel platters, sandwich trays, hot coffee boxes, and lunch spreads, with packages you can fully customize.
- Jewish Holiday Catering: The classics, including hand-sliced lox, house-made deli salads, deli meat platters, kugel, and sweet treats.
Call your nearest store or send us a message through the site, and we will help you figure out how much food you need.
Do you have options for dietary restrictions or food allergies?
We bake everything from scratch every morning, from our classic Plain and Salt bagels to favorites like Jalapeño.
We are a busy, traditional bakery, so flour and common allergens are in the air and on our surfaces all day, and we can’t guarantee that any item is allergen-free. If you have a food allergy or a specific dietary need, let our team know when you order. We are happy to walk you through the menu and help you find the best options for you.
